Hearts at Work for YOUR COVID-19 Hero

Heart-Shaped Pocket Charms

Inspired by John C. Campbell Folk School’s Hearts at Work program which celebrates the efforts of essential workers, Chancer Reese has dedicated a line of pocket charm gifts (hearts & crosses) to acknowledge and show her gratitude for all the frontline workers who have become heroes during the COVID-19 crisis.

Frontline workers include doctors, nurses, EMTs, firefighters and other first responders, as well as factory and food service workers, janitorial crews, cashiers, delivery drivers and all other types of essential people.

These one of a kind handcrafted pocket charms are made from reclaimed horseshoe nails. These rustic silver-soldered nail hearts and crosses are all unique. Each charm is a bit bigger than a quarter coin but smaller than a half-dollar.

Either a “Heart at Work” or a “Blessing at Work” will make an ideal gift for anyone who is frontline hero.

Ms. Reese says, “I’ve been a factory worker, a night janitor, worked in the food service industry (briefly) and been in retail for many years, so I know what it is like to be deemed ‘essential’ but under appreciated. Now in these troubling times, I wanted to make something for those workers who help keep our country safe and strong.”
