In a world where it seems as though every idea has been done before… the photo and fiber collages of MaryJane Lappin are truly different.
Each piece is composed of a blend of at least two to four layers of her original photos – printed on photographic paper, photo-printable fabrics overlayed with a final layer of transparent cloth.
The top layer frequently adheres to the glass frame, creating a wonderful 3-D effect.
She will be presenting a demonstration of her art Saturday from 11-4 PM here at Mountain Made gallery.
