These bobbins or spools are made of wood and show their natural wood grains and a metal ring on one end. They are about 10-3/8 inches long 1-1/8 inch wide at the base.
Jim has recycled these great pieces of Appalachian mountain industry created a both a wonderful kaleidoscope toy and a super conversation piece.
All of the bobbinscopes® are in great shape but some have cuts and age marks due to months of wear where the cotton yarn was manufactured and cut away from the bobbin for reuse. Retail price is $38.00
