Vonn (Jose) Valcarcel is a native of Germany but immigrated to the United States in 1956. An avid birder, fisherman, and former elk hunter, he has incorporated his love for wildlife in his handcrafted wood carvings of birds, animals, and fish in his carefully worked wooden walking and hiking sticks.
