Bio/Artist Statement
As far back as she can remember, Alberta was intrigued with glass as an art form. So in 1983 after her children had left the nest, she took a course in stained glass at the Arrowmont School of Arts & Crafts. From that course onward, she has studied various other techniques such as glass fusing and using a glory hole furnace. Her lighthearted designs show her mastery of this fragile art form.
